From the very beginning, Attorney Zelig practiced criminal law exclusively. During law school, Attorney Zelig worked as an intern at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, gaining invaluable experience in litigation and presenting cases in a courtroom setting.
Immediately after law school, Attorney Zelig worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Sacramento, representing California residents through all phases of criminal prosecution. This opportunity allowed Attorney Zelig to polish his trial skills and experience how the District Attorney's Office handles criminal cases.
After Attorney Zelig left the District Attorney's Office in Sacramento, he began criminal defense work at a national criminal defense law firm located in Los Angeles. During this time, he defended clients facing a wide range of serious felonies, such as:
